Our NEW and exclusive Assisted Build has been created to assist customers with manpower available that require direct skills on site. A service that offers as much or as little as you need – when you need it. Our service starts with the pre-assembly of the prime frame with all stanchions, mullions and rafters fully built with all relevant base cleats, haunch brackets and apex brackets fully bolted and ready to stand. We then offer key stage assistance direct to site. Our fully skilled and experienced site supervisors will meet you on site on key stages throughout the build to offer expert help, advice and training to your team. We charge the consultancy service on a day rate and provide recommended key dates depending on the size and complexity of the building. Our Assisted Build service ensures that you keep your costs to a minimum whilst being reassured having an expert direct on site to assist the build. You supply the labour and heavy lifting; we supply the skills and expertise. It’s that simple. Plus, we still offer the same expert remote support throughout the build via telephone, Facetime, Skype and email to ensure everything runs to plan. We only sign-off your Premium Steel Garage when you're 100% happy with the finished building. As groundworks are typically labour intensive, it can often be beneficial to appoint local contractors for this stage of the build and leave us to construct and assemble your Premium Steel Garage. Many customers already have an existing base and only require footings. Every Premium Steel Garage comes with full slab and footings plans with clear instructions and dimensions for you or your contractor to follow. How to Order – Step-by-Step
Stage 1 – 10% Deposit Payment
If the online cart is available, simply select your product and proceed to checkout. A 10% deposit (based on the building price) will be added automatically.
This deposit covers:
- Initial consultation
- Technical drawingsl
- Specification review (doors, windows, roller shutters, colours, materials)
- Self-build supply only
- Assisted build
- Full turnkey service (design, groundworks, construction, fit-out)
- Review and sign the order
- Make a 50% confirmation payment via bank transfer
- Ensure groundworks and site access are ready
- Make the final 40% balance payment 7 days before delivery
Once received, we’ll contact you to confirm your requirements and begin drafting your technical drawings. You’ll have the opportunity to review and approve every detail before proceeding.

Stage 2 – 50% Confirmation Payment
Once your design is finalised, we’ll issue a detailed Order Acknowledgement and Bill of Materials (BOM) listing every component of your building.

Stage 3 – 40% Final Balance Payment

Free UK Mainland Delivery
We offer FREE standard delivery across mainland UK (excluding Northern Ireland, Highlands, and Islands). Your steel building may arrive in multiple shipments depending on the specification and components ordered. Deliveries may include:
- Structural steel frame
- Cladding panels
- Windows and doors
- Roller shutters and accessories
All items are shipped directly from our manufacturing partners to ensure speed and quality.
Fast Lead Times
- In-stock products: Delivered within 3–4 weeks
- Custom or made-to-order items: Delivered within 6–8 weeks
- We’ll contact you in advance to arrange a convenient delivery date and time
Preparing for Delivery
Our deliveries are made using rigid or articulated lorries, so please ensure:
- There is sufficient access from the main road to the delivery site
- The route is clear of overhead obstructions and suitable for heavy vehicles
- The ground is stable—gravel or planking may be required if the soil is soft
- You notify us in advance if access is restricted—we can arrange specialist transport if needed (additional charges may apply)
Offloading Requirements
It is the customer’s responsibility to arrange safe offloading. You will need:
- A forklift or power loader to unload and move heavier components
- A qualified, insured operator to handle the machinery
- A clear, level area for stacking and storing materials
If you’re unable to arrange offloading, Steel Build Masters can provide offloading services and haulage solutions at an additional cost. Please contact us in advance for a quote.
Important Site Safety Notes:
- Do not store materials on or around the concrete slab
- Keep the slab and surrounding area clear for marking out and safe movement
- Stack steel components evenly on blocks and protect them from the weather
Help Your Driver
Your delivery driver may be unfamiliar with your site. Please:
- Share local directions or access tips in advance
- Be on-site to receive the delivery
- Treat your driver with courtesy—they are not responsible for delays or unloading
Drivers will not permit handballing of materials unless pre-arranged for safety and insurance reasons.
Post-Delivery Checklist
Immediately upon delivery:
- Unpack and inspect all components
- Cross-check items against your Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Report any discrepancies within 24 hours of delivery
Failure to report issues within this timeframe may result in additional charges for replacements.
Storing Your Steel Building Materials
If you’re not building immediately, follow these best practices:
- Store steel components with adequate airflow to prevent moisture build-up
- Dry any wet materials immediately to avoid corrosion or storage stain
- Store electrical and moving parts in a clean, dry environment
- Tilt bundles of primed parts to allow water drainage and air circulation
- Avoid puddles forming on columns, rafters, or painted surfaces
